1. Does the Town offer any youth camps or classes?

2. May I rent a park pavilion?

The pavilion at Frontier Park is available for rental. Check availability, rental rates, and request a reservation by visiting the Facilities Page.

3. How do I sign up for the Parks and Recreation e-newlsetter?

You can sign up for the Parks and Recreation e-newsletter to receive the latest news and updates from the Town of Prosper Parks and Recreation Department. 

4. Is there a field rainout line?

Yes, you can call (972)-662-8999. Field conditions are updated daily at 3:00 p.m. 

5. How can I find out about activites for Prosper seniors and Active Adults (ages 55 and up)?

Parks and Recreation publishes the Senior Scene, an e-newsletter especially for residents ages 55 and up. Sign up for the Senior Scene today to learn about year-round activities. 

6. Can I find a list of Prosper parks somewhere?

7. How do I rent an athletic field?

For information about athletic field rentals, please email Recreation Supervisor Trevor Helton, or call (972) 569-1064. 

8. How can I learn about camps, classes and events happening in Prosper?

Follow Parks and Recreation on Facebook or visit the Parks and Recreation website for details on camps, classes, and events. 

9. I have a non-emergency situation in a Town park. Whom do I contact?

Please call the Parks After Hours line at 460-400-1656.

10. How do I reserve space in the park?

To reserve space in the park, please visit the Parks and Facilities Page on the Parks and Recreation website. 

11. Do you have a lost and found?

"If you have lost an item, please call Prosper Parks and Recreation at (972) 569-1160 during regular business hours.

Items lost during practice or games: Please first visit the concession stand nearest to where you lost the item. Lost items are normally taken to concession stands by someone in attendance. Those stands are staffed after hours with Youth Sports Leagues volunteers and they have a lost and found there. 

12. Are there horseback riding trails in Prosper?

We currently have one horse riding trail that is a loop around Whispering Farms that was installed with the development (2.1 miles, with a 1.38 mile loop).

13. Does the Town offer co-ed adult softball?

Currently, Prosper offers Men's Softball and the City of Celina offers the Co-Ed League. We are continuously keeping an eye on resident comments and suggestions to see if there is enough to offer co-ed in the future. If you would like to notify and record your interest in a co-ed league for Prosper's Parks and Recreation Department, please contact Trevor Helton.

14. Is there a dog park in Prosper?

Prosper Parks and Recreation has no plans for a dog park at this time. A couple of dog parks near Prosper include:

Public comments and suggestions are always welcome at the Prosper Parks and Recreation Board meetings. 

15. How can my business participate in an event?

If you are interested in your business sponsoring a Town of Prosper event, please contact the Prosper Parks and Recreation Department by calling (972) 569-1160. 

16. Does my child need permission to play at a park?

Our parks are open to the public and you and your kids are welcome to visit and play. You can view a full list of the Parks and Trails on the Parks and Recreation website. If you have specific questions about the parks/usage of the parks, please contact our Recreation Supervisor, Trevor Helton, at thelton@prospertx.gov or call (972) 569-1064.

17. How do I find out about activities for senior citizens and active adults?

Parks and Recreation publishes an E-newsletter especially for residents ages 55 and up. From weekly bowling to games, senior members of the community are encouraged to get involved! Subscribe to the Senior Scene E-newsletter to learn about year-round activities!

18. Does Prosper offer community events?
