Building Inspections

The Building Inspections Division provides quality inspections of both residential and commercial projects to ensure minimum requirements are met for public health, safety, and general welfare. This effort is achieved through plan review prior to the issuance of a permit, then on-site inspections after permit issuance, to verify code compliance throughout the construction process.

Stay up to date with the status of your permit and results of your inspections through the use of the Citizens Self-Service Portal (CSS). The self-service portal may also be used to search for registered contractors in the Town of Prosper or residents can submit garage sale permit applications.

The Citizens Self-Service Portal (CSS) (formerly known as Energov) can be utilized for application submittals, inspection requests, and the payment of fees with 24/7 accessibility.
