The Town of Prosper contracts with Community Waste Disposal (CWD) to provide household waste and recycling services to the residents.

Special Bulk Dropoff

Bulky items may be dropped off at Prosper Public Works, 601 W 5th Street, on Saturdays between 8 a.m. and noon. Please be prepared to show your Prosper Utility Bill proving your residency in the Town of Prosper. Special Bulk Dropoff will be closed on the following dates:

• November 25, 2023
• December 23, 2023

Yard Waste

Holidays

When a holiday occurs, trash service will be delayed by one day. 2023 Holidays that will impact service:

• Memorial Day - Monday, May 29
• Independence Day - Tuesday, July 4
• Labor Day - Monday, September 4
• Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 23

No other holidays will affect service. The Town will provide holiday trash updates through or various online, print and email platforms. Additionally, CWD will communicate holiday changes on their website.

Additional Services

To order additional trash or recycling carts, have excess trash or recycling carts removed, have your carts repaired, or have service issues please call Community Waste Disposal at 972-392-9300, Option 2.
