Community Tree Lighting

Children begin to gather at Prosper's traditional tree for the annual lighting led by Mayor David Bristol! Excitement builds with the count down and, as the tree lights, a spectacular drone show begins! Stage schedule.

Santa’s Workshop

Plan to visit Santa Claus in his workshop from 3:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Prosper Christmas Festival! There will be creative fun while you wait and complimentary keepsake photos for all who would like them. How it works: Growing Sprouts Photography will capture studio-quality portraits of your family inside the workshop and you will be given a personalized unique access code. Once photos are processed, you’ll be notified of the gallery's availability. You can browse the gallery to select your favorite image for a complimentary digital download and additional prints and digital copies will be available for purchase.

Kids Christmas Shoppe

The Kids Christmas Shoppe is open exclusively to little shoppers, ages five and up! The Shoppe, located inside Town Hall, will be stocked with affordable gifts for friends, parents, and even pets. While children shop, parents and guardians wait in the Town Hall Council Chambers. When a child completes their shopping, parents and guardians are called to greet their child and provide cash and credit card payments. Sending limit per child is $20. Preferred method of payment is credit card, although cash is accepted. Shopping shifts will run from 3:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. All volunteers are vetted and background checked. 

Pre-register your child for a 15-minute shopping shift when you arrive at the event! Registration opens at 2:30 p.m., outside, at the table located just east of Town Hall.

Santa’s Selfie Station 

Bring the family to Santa's Selfie Station to capture a memory! Fun, festive backdrops provide the perfect setting for holiday selfies.

Kids Zone

The festival features TWO kids Zones this year for throwing, sliding, jumping, playing and having fun! New this year:  ice skating! 

Drone Show

The festival finale is an exciting Drone Show that follows the Community Tree Lighting with Mayor Bristol!
