Santa’s Workshop

Kids are invited to visit with Santa Claus in his workshop from 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., featuring creative fun while you wait! Santa visits will be especially memorable this year, as complimentary keepsake photos will be available. We are pleased to welcome Growing Sprouts Photography to the Workshop, to provide studio quality portraits with Santa to all who would like one. Families will receive a personalized unique access code and once photos are processed, a notification of the gallery's availability will be sent. Families will be able to browse their gallery, select their favorite image for a complimentary digital download, and also have the option to purchase additional prints and digital copies.

Kids Christmas Shoppe

Young shoppers, kindergarten through fifth grade (ages 5-12), are invited to the Kids Christmas Shoppe to shop during the Prosper Christmas Festival! A variety of gifts for all ages will be available for purchase within the gingerbread-themed Shoppe, including items for family, friends, and pets! The secure environment inside Town Hall provides the perfect venue for your child to learn the blessings of giving.

Parents, here’s how it works:

Sign up your child/children to shop at the Kids Christmas Shoppe at the event on Dec. 2. The registration table will be located on the east side of Town Hall. Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
At registration, you will be asked to complete a form with: child’s name; who they are shopping for; and how much they are allowed to spend.
A designated time slot will be assigned for your child.
A badge noting the shopping time slot will be given to you. This will be YOUR TICKET to enter the Kids Christmas Shoppe.
Shopping shifts run every 15 minutes. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. to welcome the first 3:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift shoppers. The Shoppe will close at 6:45 p.m. after the last shift at 6:30 p.m. in time for the Community Tree Lighting at 7:00 p.m.
Fifteen minutes prior to your designated shopping time, please head to the north entrance of Town Hall to check in at the exterior door. Doors will be opened when your designated shopping time begins.
Individual background-checked adults will guide each shopper in selecting gifts.
Gifts will be wrapped before your child leaves the Shoppe so they can stay a surprise until Christmas!
While children shop, parents/guardians wait in the Town Hall Council Chambers. Light snacks will be served.
After your child has completed shopping, you will be called into the Town Hall Lobby to greet your child and to provide payment. The Kids Christmas Shoppe is able to accept cash and credit cards.

Proceeds from the Kids Christmas Shoppe benefit the Recreational Scholarship Fund, which assists Prosper residents and those in the Prosper ISD school district to attend camps and classes when they are financially unable to do so.
