The 2026 Challenge Begins March 1!
The annual Mayor's Fitness Challenge is open to Prosper residents and their families. The Challenge features three seasons: Spring (March 1-May 31); Summer (June 1-August 31); and Fall (Sept. 1-Nov. 30).
Tracking fitness minutes for the Spring Season may begin March 1. Registration is open.
How the Mayor's Fitness Challenge works:
1. Register your family!
2. Record/track at least 90 minutes of any type of exercise during the season.
3. Document your exercise on a tracking sheet. (Use our tracking sheet or create your own.)
4. Turn in a completed tracking sheet to Parks & Recreation for a free t-shirt and entry to win Bluetooth Earbuds! Spring tracking is due June 12, 2026.
Residents who turn in completed tracking sheets for all three Seasons of the Mayor's Fitness Challenge automatically will be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize, a Mayor's Challenge Coin presented by Mayor David Bristol. The Mayor's Centers of Wellness Program includes five pillars (Technology, Healthcare, Education, Wellness, and Community). The annual Community Challenge falls under the Wellness pillar.
