PROSPER, TX – May 21, 2025 – The Town of Prosper invites the community to a meaningful Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Frontier Park Pavilion, 1551 Frontier Parkway. This annual event honors the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

The ceremony will feature remarks from Mayor David Bristol, Congressman Pat Fallon and Giovanni Catanzaro, Deputy Regional Director for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz’s office. The program also includes an Invocation, Presentation of the Colors, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, TAPS and a moment of silence.

Immediately following the ceremony, attendees are invited to stay for a special groundbreaking for the Prosper Veterans Memorial, to be constructed at Frontier Park. Spearheaded by the Prosper Rotary Club, this lasting tribute will honor all veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and provide a space for reflection, remembrance, and community pride.

This project represents a collaborative partnership between the Prosper Rotary Club, the Town of Prosper, Prosper ISD, and the Prosper Economic Development Corporation. The Town of Prosper has generously donated the land and will oversee ongoing maintenance of the site. The Prosper Rotary Club is spearheading fundraising and construction efforts, with an estimated project cost of $600,000. The Rotary has committed matching funds to help drive the campaign forward. Approximately half of the needed funds have been secured to date, and continued community support is essential to bring this meaningful project to fruition.

The Prosper Rotary Club welcomes the community’s support in completing this important project. Tax-deductible donations can be mailed to:

Veterans Memorial
 PO Box 643
 Prosper, TX 75078

Secure online donations are also accepted at prosperrotary.org. Supporters may also choose to honor a veteran with a personalized brick, available through the website.

This Memorial Day, we encourage all residents and visitors to take part in honoring our nation’s heroes and supporting the future Prosper Veterans Memorial. Your presence and participation will help preserve the legacy of those who served—and sacrificed—for our freedom.
