Current Watering Guidelines

See our Watering Schedule (PDF) for your designated watering days. 

From November 1 - March 31, water users may water once weekly, if needed. 

• Zone I: Monday 
• Zone II: Wednesday
• Zone III: Friday

From April 1 - October 31, water users may water twice weekly, if needed. 

• Zone I: Monday & Thursday
• Zone II: Tuesday & Friday
• Zone III: Wednesday & Saturday

Watering Variances

Variances are granted when new sod is laid or new landscapes are installed to ensure plants have the necessary water to become well-established. 

• Variances are good for up to 30 days from the date of installation.
• Typically, 2-3 weeks is sufficient for most plants to become established. 
• Outdoor watering requirements below still apply.
  • No watering from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • No excess water runoff or other obvious waste.
  • No watering hard surfaces (streets, alleys, sidewalks).
  • No watering during rain or freezing events.
• Don't forget to adjust your sprinkler system after 30 days!
