Purpose
Specific Use Permit is the procedure by which a specific use that is not entitled by straight zoning may be allowed within the Town of Prosper.
Approval Body
Specific Use Permit requests are approved by Planning & Zoning Commission and Town Council.
Required Forms & Exhibits
All requests are submitted online via the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal (Link) and shall be submitted per the development schedule.
- Owner Acknowledgment Form (PDF) - For Property owners, you must provide the deed to the property to verify ownership. For Third Party representation, you must provide documentation that you are an authorized signer for your business.
- Current Tax Certificate (PDF)or statement showing there are no delinquent taxes
- .dwg and .pdf files of all exhibits
- Letter of intent (PDF) describing the use and addressing the questions within the zoning ordinance
- A legal description (metes and bound of the property to be annexed title as "Exhibit A" and sealed and signed by a surveyor
- Exhibit B (Site Plan)
- Exhibit C (Landscape Plan)
- Exhibit D (Facade Plan)
- Signed Checklist (PDF)
Fees
Fees will be processed once the application is deemed complete. Fees will be invoiced via the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal (Link).
