Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan

The Town is excited to announce that planning is underway for the 2024 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan! This comprehensive blueprint, slated to be finalized in December 2024, will chart the course for the evolution of Prosper’s park system. It will encompass recommendations for land acquisition, park expansion, development and tailored programming and activities for all ages. Additionally, it will explore the feasibility of a future multi-generational facility to accommodate Prosper's rapidly growing population.

The update of the Parks Master Plan includes a Resident Survey, which was available to the public from April 18 through May 19, 2024. As part of the Parks Master PLan, survey responses will assist decision making in the areas of parks and recreation for years to come.
